Android
Open Write Now in Chrome. Open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
If you do not see an option
Look for a browser menu item such as Install, Add to Home screen or Create shortcut. The wording varies by device and browser.
Computer
Chrome or Edge
Open Write Now and look for an install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install.
Other browsers
Create a bookmark or shortcut if an installation option is not available.
Open the exercises
Use an internet connection when opening Write Now so the exercises and their media can load.
Shared devices and privacy
Write Now does not require a student account. The exercise overview is stored in the current browser and can be cleared before another child uses the device. Reset local progress or read about learning data.
